Introduction
We welcome the opportunity to be a part of your wedding and the promise that it holds for you and your beloved. To that end, and within the guidelines set forth here, please consider the staff and facilities of The Church of the Good Shepherd at your disposal.
General Information
To facilitate your wedding plans, please take the time to read all of the information found below. If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to call our Administrative Assistant, Martha Newman, at 703-281-3987 or to email her.
The Building Use Request form, now available in the church office and soon to be here online, should be returned to our pastor at least six months in advance. It is suggested that reception venue reservations, photographers, and florists not be engaged prior to the pastor's approval of the date and time of the wedding.
Once the date and time have been approved by our pastor, you will be asked to send a deposit of $50 to confirm the wedding date on the church calendar. Please complete and mail the required forms, now available in the church office, to your florist and to your photographer. These forms contain important information about the policies at the Church of the Good Shepherd.
