Dine for Nine
Dine4Nine Groups
Dine4Nine groups are "all-inclusive, not exclusive" groups of people with in the church who are arranged in groups of nine and encouraged to get together once a month over a four month period. These get-togethers may be in someone's home (old fashioned potlucks are still fun), may occur in several homes like a progressive dinner, or in a restaurant or specialty venue like a sporting event or concert, etc. Whatever works for the participants in your group. Be creative and happy dining!
If you would like to be added to the Dine4Nine roster contact the Coordinator Peggy Oskuie at poskuie@verizon.net or you can call the church office and we will forward that information to her.
This is how it works. Three times a year a new list of groups comes out, printed and posted in the Church Information center and also emailed to the participants. The name(group) at the top of each group list is the "host" for the first outing of this new group. The host is asked to coordinate the first outing of the group and then the responsibility to plan the next outing is passed down the line, or in most cases is decided by the end of the first meeting. It is simple, and fun. The challenge is getting everyone together! Sometimes Dine4Nine groups will meet and sit together at the Monthly church PotLuck.
This is a great way to get know people from our church fellowship that you may not encounter on a weekly basis. Join in today. There is no obligation, we understand when schedules prohibit participation but we want you to be encouraged to sign up and participate as you can.
