| TODAY: Put away your busy-ness, your frantic doing and your endless lists and take a few minutes to get quiet and listen for God to speak within your heart. It’s a good use of quiet time. |
for he
often comes quietly.
How great is his patience
as he waits for us
to set aside our busy-ness
our frantic doing
our endless lists.
So many things call out,
occupying our minds and
demanding our attention.
And still he patiently waits,
not demanding,
simply offering.
We have but to ask,
to quiet ourselves into
the emptiness of a moment
to listen in order to know…
He has slipped silently
into our heart,
And he is already there.
