NOW I CEE
It’s like I walked this road before. But I’m not sure, and some would say I should be. The voices in my head and I know it sounds crazy, but it’s like they gave me a key and NOW I CEE NOW I CEE THE FUTURE That should be a blessing to me or should I say us NOW I CEE NOW I CEE THE FUTURE Of me the we walking over the standards of the three fifths law once an invisible wall not tall enough to hide the great secret that shows the sanctity of why I am a spark in the eyes of a chosen few. Oh yes, one million strong men and women voices in harmony saying NOW I CEE NOW I CEE THE FUTURE Beyond the gates, bars, and fences, count times and missed visits; this place can change you if you let it. A new birth of deception mounted on the backs of the broken, shush, I guess some things should not be spoken, regurgitating the lies that made these truths self-evident the time is systematic and desire for a real change is lacking in the valley where the dry bones stay asleep and NOW I CEE NOW I CEE THE FUTURE Through the eyes of the ancient that painted the will of their thoughts on my mind, oh yes, evolution is what I have been through. Now equipped with the tools to truly perceive reality, I am honored to give thanks because NOW I CEE NOW I CEE THE FUTURE Sudan Octavius Aunu, inmate, Poet’s note: “CEE” means to understand through the reality of the third eye. |
