LET US BREAK BREAD

TODAY: Be an encourager today. Salute a job well done. Give support to someone facing challenge. Say a kind word.

Let the mamas and the papas
hold their children’s hand.
Relate to them stories of
not-so-far-away lands.

Let them hear of stories when
David and Solomon was King.
Let us celebrate. Let us sing.
Let us remember what Moses did bring;

When Adam did his thing, and when
Noah’s Ark was no wet-weather fling.

When Abraham, the father of many, who served The One,
And did we mention what Jesus did was second to none?

Did he feed the masses, five loaves and two fish?
Did Jesus do those things? Was it a miracle?

Did Freedom ring? Was it a feast fit for a king?

A shepherd of men with no “ca-ching”? The answer is yes!
As much as Gollum wanted his precious, his golden ring.

No jest. No zing. No boom. No bop. No bling.
With God’s permission, Jesus did those things.

No jest, no zing, no boom, no bam, no bling.
With God’s permission, Jesus did those things.
